Sunday, No Rest For the Wicked

Sunday 16th
Big day for Mia.
Last minute (of course) completion, of Science project, for school.
At this age. Unassisted. No parental help
Well just a little from Michaela's Mum and Dad

Michaela and Mia were working as a team. They chose to do their project on "Iron Flakes in Cereals"
Magnets were used.
They did their research, luckily for them. They have the Internet.
I remember when we did our School; projects, we wrote away to the institution that we wanted to write about and they sent us guff.
It was exciting, when the big envelope arrived in the mail
Anyway enough about me and onto the girls

So they beavered away for about 3 hours, then I had to come and pick up Mia for her Flippa Ball Final
Her team were fighting for 3rd place in the tournament
Here is Mia with her Friend Claudia, sorting out tactics maybe?
Down to the pool
Team Talk - must have worked. They won 3-0
So back to Michaela's, for finishing touches.
Her Dad spray-painted the pin board
Won't be able to miss that at the Science Fair
So layout time,
Very diligent

Poor Kerry (Michaela's Mum) what a mess
We walked out and left them to finish off.
We were going back to pick up Cleo who was having a play date with her friend Ely
Jane had kindly offered to feed the kids
Pumpkin Soup and Home made Bread
Excellent
Happy Campers
Monday 17th

French Toast For Breakfast
Contrary to the look on Mia's face, she did like it
Grandma's doing well on the lunches
Cleo chose her own outfit for the day
What a wonderful surprise going to school
Mother Duck with her Ducklings strolling across the busy Rd
Phew... They made it,
 Drop off for Mia
 And the 'Fashionista' herself
Each morning, there has never been enough Blue Sky to make a a pair of Sailor's Trousers
But Today, 'Bingo
Could make enough for the  Whole New Zealand Navy!

So after dinner, we went to Mia's School Science Fair
It was very crowded and Cleo was finding it a little overwhelming
Thee was singing on the stage and dozens of people milling about
Of course, Mia's project was in the last lane.
Pleased to get there finally
The girls' hard work
Not a winner, but certainly stood out in the crowd

So once viewed ,we were out of there
Another day over
